Sandstorms fur-Magic Coat

Hi all,
I got some CC Magic Coat foam waterless shampoo and used it on Sandstorms legs and ruff. It left no residue and his ruff is a bit more coarse and fluffier! So far I like it, I do need it for the winter. Luckily it is all sand around here, so it tends to just dry and brush out. Just thought I would share my opinion on the product,

What is the difference between Magic Foam and Show Off? I'm debating which one to order. Winter's coming and I will definitely need one!

I haven't used Show Off, I debated which one to get too, but I like Magic Coat because it is a foam, no drips or spraying noises!

I've always been happy with Show Off, but I've never tried Magic Foam either.

I'm always cautious about residue on "leave-ins". They will build up over time and create "dirt magnets"

I think you need to read the product descriptions of both and decide what it is you are trying to accomplish.

I use Show Off, to periodically do a superficial "clean". If I'm looking for other conditioning then I use those sprays separately.

I really try not to put too much gunk on the boys. In the long run, I think it makes them harder to keep clean.

Sometimes a brush with straight water is good enough.

Is this a product they sell in pet stores, or is it strictly on line? It seems like the pups always need a bath to me, I cannot keep the white really white and the paws at the bottom always look dirty to me. They do not play in dirt either! So I wanted a product that can help keep them clean between baths.

This is good advice. I use the magic foam on legs and ruff in front when I cannot use the outside hose (winter). I have sprayed with water and brushed , and that also helps with residue build-up. You are right, it is just like a carpet when you use too much spray cleaner without being able to suck it all out with the cleaner machine. It becomes a dirt magnet- I learned this the hard way!!
