I actually have a sister in law that is just like that! She said the ONLY pet she will ever allow her kids to have is *maybe* ONE gold fish. Other then a fish, animals should never be allowed in the house, ever. Under no circumstances, will she ever in her life, own a dog or even a cat. She is perfectly fine with her boys playing outside in the dirt all day, but if they pet Gizmo at all, or give him a treat, they have to go inside and wash their hands. She says she is fine with other people having pets (though, she doesnt understand why anyone in their right mind would ever let an animal in the house), it just will never be allowed in her home.
sorry that was kind of off subject. Gizmo does really well at my in laws house. They have had a few different dogs and my father in law would actually like another one, but is worried that he wouldnt have time for it. He is really good with Gizmo. My parents house is another thing. they have never had a dog so they have no idea what to do. and its always really loud and hectic, so he doesnt like it much.
