sensitive stomach!

I've had problems feeding too 'rich' a food (ie Blue Buffalo), and also anything with turkey in it. I also could not feed Wellness Core, but other types of the same brand seem okay.

I had one that could not eat chicken, turkey, duck, or fish - pretty much any of the 'sensitive' or 'limited' ingredient dog foods contain some of these. He could really only eat beef. So, I cooked him ground beef & rice with veggies in it for most of his life.

Hope you track down the culprit soon.

When my 2nd sheltie aged, she became quite reactive to chicken, turkey and duck, when before it wasn't an issue...in her latter years it was just easier to cook for her, than have her suffer with digestion problems. I figured she earned special treatment . And about that time the recalls were happening with so many dog food brands.

Addie's breeder had Addie on a different puppy food when we got her. I had done a lot of research, and had originally picked up a BB Life for her to switch to, but there were so many complaints on Consumer Affairs that I returned it unopened. I switched her to Merrick Grain Free puppy and she refused to transition. She picked out all the food her breeder was giving her, set it aside in a pile and only ate the Merrick. I accidentally picked up the Merrick Classic puppy instead of the Grain Free this last time, and she doesn't eat grass outside anymore. Overall, I am really happy with this food. Her coat is shiney, she has put on weight - she went from being in the undersize (she was a "runt" I think they call it), to now being in the "iffy" zone between undersize and right size.

The only time she has had pudding poo's was the day I started teaching her "come" with cheese. We cut back on the amount of cheese and she has not had any issues since. Do you give any treats like cheese or anything like that?
