Sheep Pen Toy

How do you teach your dog to play with it? I bought this ultra cute one (looked like a fish, but had carrots inside it and other things too), and Koji could careless. :rolleyes2:

Trevor was very praise motivated and he loved squeakers. I showed him the bee, then put it inside the hive but left my hand in there so I could squeak it. I tried to use my voice to make it sound really interesting.

The first few times I had to put the bee half way out so he would grab it. Once he did, he would shake his head back and forth until it fell out. Then I would praise him like crazy.

Once he got the idea, he would bury his nose in the hive, latch on to one and just shake his head until the hive would go flying! He would put his body so into it that sometimes it would fly up and bounce off the ceiling! One time it landed on top of the TV cabinet & he couldn't figure out where it went. He knew it went up, but didn't come down. His antics always made us laugh, which just made him want to do it more.

I miss having a toy dog. My two other monkeys hardly touch them now.

I stuff my hide a squirrel with baby carrots! The pups go ape over it! I'm thinking of getting extra squirrels though because its too easy for them to find the carrots with only 3 squirrels. You can buy "replacement" 3-packs of the squirrels, I just found out. Or I'll just stuff with any extra small stuffies I happen to have in the house....I think a Skineez would work well....kinda like pulling a rabbit of of a hat!
