I am 4 and counting here. 3 live with me(Justice-sable, Ember- bi blue and Diva- Tri) and 1(Jaime-bi black) with his co owner. I got my first sheltie 9.5yrs ago and fell totally in love with the breed. none other like them.
 
Once you go "real herd dog" you'll never go back!

Real herd dogs = Shelties, Border Collies, and Rough Collies!!
 
Welcome!!! Yeah, I've always had a sheltie in my life ever since I was a baby too. I've never had another type of dog, then again I've never really wanted any other dog besides a sheltie. Shelties truly are love!

I have always loved this breed, but I thought my husband would be a "hard sell". Was I wrong!

My husband, who has never been much of a dog person, is now completely in love with the pups we have. Aili, our 2 year old little rescue girl, came from such a tough situation and she latched on to my husband from the day we brought her home - melted his heart, I think. Now adding Doolie, our 4 month old rambunctious little man, has made the house livelier still. The big strong man in my house has laughed himself to tears more than once over the two of them.

What did we do for entertainment before the dogs were part of our lives?

Aww, that's such a great story to hear! I can't imagine life without my two wild boys either. :wink2: BTW I absolutely love that name Doolie, such a cute name!
