I think I've seen that race on TV. are they running up a hill??

I knew a gal years ago that lived in pumps. She went fishing in them, rock climbing you name it.. She had really strong calves.
 
I'm an idiot! I read the thread title, and thought: Dog shoes for agility! You must be kidding! I never heard of such a thing! 'Course I realize now you meants for the handlers! :razz::lol:

LOL. Oops, I should've clarified in the original post. But then again, doesn't everyone have muttluks for their dogs? Actually, I have to put Miko in a pair when we go to trials because his feet get all "itchy" and it takes awhile for them to stop itching. poor guy.
 
I switched to trail walking shoes this winter - got sick of slipping on the ice in normal runners (plus I suffer from vertigo). They have a much deeper tread and it seems to help a lot with the grip. As for the puppers - no shoes for them (lol) but I did buy the paw wax suggested by Sharon I think and its great for running in the rain and ice.
 
For outdoors I have Nike trail runners. They have square nobbs on the bottom like little cleats. They add grip but I can still turn without getting my foot stuck on the ground. Inside I have new balance.
 
Try Ebay! If you stick to brands you know, then you don't have to worry about sizing. There are lots of new shoes on Ebay and I never pay more than 50% of retail.
