Shots and immunity

I agree - don't let the government tell you what's best for your fur baby...and, no, I'm not a rebel :)

Government is still going by the belief that any vaccination or combination of vaccinations at any time can confer only benefits while at the same time capable of causing no harm. As far as I can see, that's still the paradigm when it comes to humans. Heaven knows how much suffering it's caused.

I don't know if that is shorthand by the vet as D A 1P 2P (4 N 1)

Or if it is D A2 P (hence a 3 N 1).

My vet described it as D Av2 P P

Lacey will be 16 weeks on the 16th. I just got an email from the vet that she is due for her last shot on the 9th which is a week before she is officially 16 weeks. How close to the 16 weeks does she actually have to be? Can I have her immunized a little early? By early I only mean a few days. I would take her on the 13th. I want her to have a few days at home since she had such a strong reaction the last time.

You are probably fine by a couple days. I know the rabies you are holding off. Baker had his a few days early due to a trip.

The husky breeder told me that she does 8 & 12 and then titers and has not given a 16 weeker since she started that protocol.
