Hi everyone. What are your thoughts on using chalk on white areas to enhance the coat?

If showing AKC, it's a standard practice to use French chalk. If UKC, no.

I use a moisturizer / cholesterol product on the legs and in the ruff and then loose chalk made for showing. Chris Christensen makes a good one, but the best if you can get it there is from here: http://www.thechalkguy.com
I only show in AKC and it's standard practice to chalk the dogs before showing. Just make sure you brush thoroughly after applying so your dog isn't leaving little chalk pawprints or loose chalk flies from the ruff!
