For me, the name Sangiovese actually came from an Italian wine! I would have named my son that, but Romeo came first!
Sangiovese is a fine wine here also, a couple of the puppies were named after wines

Just for the record - I'm not an alcoholic! 
But I do get a few stares when I call for Romeo Sangiovese in my fake Italian accent and lousy Italian! Romeo sadly, is not bilingual. haha!
