Skipped the crying and started howling?

So Pippi and I have just got home and after an hour of playing I went to make something to eat. After about 2 minutes Pippi started howling. Anyone else's babies do this?

Dickens will howl like a wolf, but he has to be "primed" first. He won't do it apropos of nothing.

bad dream?

Savannah did that last night, I think it was around 10:30pm, she sleeps in a crate by the bed. Kaleigh sleeps at/on my feet on the bed. We were in a deep sleep, Kaleigh and I awoke with fright wondering what the deal was. Not sure what brought that about, I think she was dreaming, because when I looked into her crate she was curled up and not really focusing. It isn't even a full moon. Never a dull moment at our house lately.

My 1st sheltie would howl if I was outside and she couldn't get to me. She was my protector, and guardian angel. She insisted on being at my side ALWAYS as if it was her job and duty. Best dog ever! and the reason for my loyalty to the breed.
