Smart puppy

Pretty sure Lacey has figured out how to come in the doggie door. She was in the yard, Ron was taking the trash out and I was in the bedroom. Our son in law found her running wild in the house and put her in her pen. I knew it would not be long. She has been studying the door and watching the other animals using it. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. I think she is a little young, but maybe this will help with her training. I'll know more tomorrow for sure.

No doubt she's wicked smart, but is she big enough to push her way through! :)

She will be taking herself out to potty in no time! (and I'm jealous!)

Well she knows how to get in. Getting out, not so much, but I'll have to teach her that today.

Lacey knows how to go both in and out the pet door now. She has graduated to freedom in the kitchen and laundry room now during the day. We still use the pen and crate and I'm sure will for a long time. She does really well in the smaller area. We have a big house and it's overwhelming for a tiny young puppy, but she can go outside on her own and will take herself out to potty. We watch and treat when she takes herself out

Big brother Milo has been a great example, showing her to go out and potty.

I really was not ready for her to use the door, but she figured it out by watching the other animals.
