somthing wrong with liver?

I got some blood tests done on Angel yesterday. Some came in today, and they said somthing wrong with her Liver and she needs to go on a Liver Supp. Is there any types of foods I can feed her besides this Denamrin 425mg? Any Advice? Angels never had somthing like this happen to her, shes a pretty healthy dog. Tomorrow or Friday we should be getting in her Cancer tests.....

I am sorry to hear this. I do not know about special food but we also used the Denamrin for Hollie. Do you know why her enzymes were elevated? We originally thought Hollie's was from anti inflammatories but later learned it was actually her gallbladder.

Hope her other tests are OK and she is soon better.

Liver supplements

Vetri liver chews were recommended by our internist for Max. There a supplement and detoxification I believe. You can google them. Max has pancreatitus and sludge in his gall bladder. Talked to your vet about them.

I am not sure why they are elevated. The vet only talked to me once about it, so i will have to have him tell me again. I will mention the gallbladder thing. Im new to all this, Angels almost 12 and is just starting to "show her age". Iv had her half my life and dont ever want to lose her. Although I know one day I will...
