My friend Patti who won the 12 inch National Agility championship this year at the AKC Nationals just heard from AKC and found out Sparkle is the number one sheltie in the country.Congratulations to Patti and Sparkle! They are so fun to watch.
It takes a lot of really successful trialing to quality for the Agility Invitational, especially in a highly competitive breed like Shelties or BCs. So far, 3 teams from EPR have been invited -- Donna/Icy, Miniature American Shepherd (formerly know as Mini Aussie), Chris/Indy, Border Terrier and Steve/Rocky, Miniature Schnauzer. I'm especially happy for Donna because she spent 4 months rehabbing Icy after she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that made her unable to compete for 4 months this winter. Donna is also my instructor for private lessons.

Congrats to Patti and Sparkle!!!!
That is so awesome!!! Is she going to Nationals in Reno? I wish I could go (to watch), but it's just too far just to watch. I wish I was in them instead!
