so i noticed today that Gizmo has a teeny tiny spot of fur missing. its right next to the corner of his eye on his nose. its like half the size of a pencil eraser. i noticed it and had my husband look at it, and now he is worried and said i need to check with you guys as to what it might be. could it be mange? if so what else do i need to keep an eye out for? or is this nothing to worry about? what else could it be? what sort of things do we need to watch for? i dont know if its connected but he does seem to have dandruff all over his body, but we live in UT and its pretty dry so that might be the reason for the dandruff. i dont want to get all worked up about it if its is really nothing, but i would like to know what we need to keep an eye out for in case it is something to worry about.

I agree, a photo is worth a thousand words!
k the first pic is the easiest to see it with but also the furthest away. for some reason when we tried to get it closer you cant see it as well. 
are these pics good enough to see or do we need to try to get different ones?

It doesn't look like mange to me. It almost looks like the hair was rubbed off. Maybe she had something there that was itchy? I would keep an eye on it.
If it were my dog, I would take a measurment, or as you have done, photodocument it, and this way you can monitor if it gets bigger or looks worse.

The same exact thing has happened to Lexi--and I realized later it was because she had a small cut on her face previously and the scab came off and left it hairless.

If it were me, I'd ask the vet -- 'cause it looks like a possible case of ringworm to me.
