Hello all!
I'm in process of designing a grooming room (11'x11' size approx.) and would appreciate suggestions regarding the spray attachment to get. I currently just use a garden nozzle with multiple patterns (some grooming nozzles look identical to me, with larger price tag, so please explain the difference to this novice
, ha).
Since I basically have all my other needs (table/dryers, etc) my thought is to just build a raised bath tub (no hair to retrieve under it
) rather than buying a ready made stainless steel or molded tub (although I like the attached stow away steps that come with some of those) and spend a bit more preferrably on an ergonomic spray nozzle as I'm fighting off carpal tunnel surgery as it is. The hazard of grooming all my own rescue dogs routinely as well as my personal ones
).
In just a quick search, found these below (believe they are all PetEdge) any comments on any of them, pro/con ? Or other companies?

I found a very nice example of using a utility tub in the archives (I'd once contemplated that but never thought to be able to cut the center divider (great idea), but I often groom collies as well and want to make something easier to enter. (With a reg bath tub I would just build steps along wall to access).
BTW, is there a product (besides shop vac, something similar to what wood workers utilize in their shops) to suck up flying hair by chance?
my ever-rolling mind even thought about putting a hidy hole in the wall where I could feed the shop vac hose through it (to keep noise down from unit). Shop vac is often TOO MUCH for rescue dogs.
Any other pointers/suggestions in my pre-build stage would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Linda "Sheltie Shack Rescue of KS"
