Squirrels...I’m sure we can all relate!

Here at the house the main electric lines run at the back edge of our property and it's amusing to watch Teddy's reaction as the squirrels use it as a super highway to run back and forth

With us it is the chipmunks! They torture the dogs like mad! We have lots of rocks walls all over our property, the chipmunks run in between the rocks and chatter at the dogs as if they are saying 'you can't get me, na-na-na'.

We have both chipmunks and squirrels and they use our fences as highways. The girls chase them constantly.

Zulu pretty much ignores the squirrels on our walks. I think he finally figured out the he has no chance on the leash. The fence is a different story. All I have to say is "Zulu squirrel", and he is dashing out toward the fence!

I also only have to say “did you see a squirrel”…and the dogs go running to the fence barking. Of course this also works with rabbits lol…

Ours take their job very seriously of keeping the squirrels off the bird feeders. All I have to do is open the back door, say the "S" word, and they're charging out. I keep them gated on the back deck though, ever since Flurry almost caught one! She is wicked fast. Their other joy is routing the rabbits that live behind their dog yard. Gotta give a Sheltie a job!

I love that you have a dog yard! I wish….my dogs have the yard lol and they go EVERYWHERE!
