Start line training

Great !!Thanks for sharing. As I have said before I have Rock Solid start line stays and can do nice lead outs!!!

Jody's SLS's are very good I think:yes:. I once put him in a down-stay and walked about 2 blocks away before he had enough and started crying and yelping for me (we were in a large open feild and the wind was blowing to his back, he couldn't hear my commands unless I yelled but I could hear the smallest wimpier from him, that's west Texas for ya!), but he never came until I called him. I must say, I'm very proud.:biggrin2:

Lexi scoots at the start line at a trial. No amount of proofing (and trust me, we proof ALL the time) has fixed it. I just have to keep working it.

The only thing that she has a hard time staying for is the hose--so we've started working on that, and she gets it now :)

What an interesting way to teach it! I'm working on Ruutu's start line stays. Sometimes I can get out 1 or 2 jumps, other times he's just wayyy to excited to jump the first jump. He's learning though. I think this weekend I'll put up my jump in my apartment and work a little more on them. That being said, I've only had 7 Agility classes with him, so with that he's doing awesome!

Leo LOVES hose and water! Going to try this one too:biggrin2:
I just realized yesterday Leo would release on Ready as well on his regular cue so we played with it.
