Stevie has gone to the bridge

Thank you all for he outpouring of sympathy. This is doubly hard for me as I was out of tow helping one of my children move into a new place and my youngest daughter had to deal with the situation. She is 15 and she feels like she somehow could have done something more. She has sort of considered Stevie to be hers by proxy since her sister moved away. We both appreciate your kind words and support.

He was a cutie. He was Black and Tan and he seemed to just enjoy everything about life. He smiled and he would stand up on his hind legs and dance any time he saw somebody he liked (and he liked EVERYBODY!) but he was also kind of a nut. When he was younger his way of telling us that he wanted out was to run full force through the house and ram head on into the door, and if he was ignored he would turn around and take off like a demon and ram into the back door! He also used this technique to knock over my kitchen garbage a few times! He was quite a character. We will all miss him, but we know that he is in a better place. Godspeed Stevie.
