Tapeworms!!! Ugh.

Where is he getting them from? He is on trifexis, which takes care of whips, rounds, hooks and fleas. So where are they coming from!?
 
We had them here once, when mine were all on preventatives too. I'm told that few heartworm/worming meds prevent tapeworms. They get them from fleas and we've never had those, but my vet said they can also come from things like rabbit droppings or other animals that are around. They are SO gross!!!

One dose of Drontal took care of them for me but we did dose all the dogs.

I was hoping since their preventatives took care of fleas, I wouldn't have a tapeworm problem. And yes, it's extremely gross!! Haha

I will get some drontal plus tomo from work!
 
They are gross. When I was a kid we had a black lab that had them. Whatever she was given didn't work and I remember my parents having to give her enemas until it passed!!! I pray I never have to do that, it was so gross!!!! I hope they are gone for you soon.
