I use leave it too. Although Bailey likes ignore that command. we have to work on that.

It's funny how we all use different commands. I use AHHHH! to mean get out of the trash can or don't eat poop. It's a correction, but not life-threatening. "Leave it!" means to immediately drop whatever is in your mouth (taught at basic obedience). "Hot, Hot!" is reserved for the big, dangerous stuff.
Our Aussie friends: if I had to deal with poisonous snakes on our walks, I'd be locked in the house!
