How long do sheltie puppies typically teeth for? I am wondering how long I should keep Chinook's ears glued.

Mine had all his baby teeth replaced by 8 mths save for one canine that really doesn't look like it's going to come out at all even tho the adult one is already growing out!

Most are done teething by 8 months of age, but ears can still prick until they're a year old. Our Barkley was glued until his first birthday. The best thing is to unglue periodically when the pup is past teething and monitor them. If you see them starting to creep up, set them again.

I gave up too early on my Pixie (6 months) and her ears flopped. The look suits her but it's not the way I planned it! :rolleyes2:

i got so frusterated with glue, that i did my last option
i folded his ear down and wrapped mascing tape all around his ear.

i hated doing that cuz it pulled his hair.

Than my breeder told me all about what conformation ring was like and thats when i took off the mascing tape and said "TO HECK WITH HIS EARS!!!"

This is the method that I used with Sadie. She had the majority of her adult teeth in when she was approx. 7 months old so I took the glue off and never ended up gluing them again.
