Tips for driving a fast car

Have you done any of Linda's Developing Jumping Skills book? The foundation positions in there should help her to start to learn how to read what you're asking her to do.

No, I haven't. We've done some Susan Salo jumping stuff, but I think that's different. I'll check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!

I had a similar problem with Sadie when we were doing agility. She was VERY good at it, it was me making all the mistakes and she was so fast that I simply couldn't keep up with her.

Great advice, I like what Stacy explained.
I love you guys with all this experience, you just KNOW I am learning just reading all your guys stuff :)
I may never seriously compete but this sure is fun!

It's also so much easier to look at others run, like Ortegah said and figure out a few things they could do differently. I feel the same way in class but then everything leaves my head as soon as I step up to it??? The arms flail and next thing I know in my head I am dancing to the Bee Gees :rolleyes2::confused2:

You've already received great advice, the only thing I can do is second the practicing of calling obstacles faster. That was my biggest weakness with Eli, I was far too slow with calling, so he'd veer off course because I wasn't giving him enough information. I've also had to learn to give consistent hand/arm cues. If I flap around he's unsure of where to go.

You guys will get it, she's going to be fast and wonderful!
