Toileting a senior in the cold

Many of you live in cold climates, so how do you get a senior to go outside to toilet before bed?

Tully seems to think she has a young bladder. I'm losing sleep or cleaning up overnight accidents because Tully won't go outside when I take the others before bed.

There is a dog door to the couryard, but Tully is totally blind at night so can't get out alone, there are often accidents if I don't wait her out but that's usually about 1am. And she has mastered the art of rolling on her side to make it too hard to pick her up.

Perhaps more lights outside for her? I’m thinking of the pathway lights people use, not sure if that would help her to see better but if her issue is not being able to see because of the darkness then add more lights? Perhaps then she’d be more likely to go outside to pee?
Past senior dogs we used pee pads (either the disposable or the washable kind) at night.

I did try pads near the laundry entrance, bathroom doors and in hall but she's blind and can't see the pee pads so they havent worked.

I don't want her alone in the courtyard while I sleep, we've had quite a few incidents of falls, or getting stuck (she was out in the cold for 5hrs one day), and the latest is she got tangled in some shade cloth. But anyway I think she knows its too risky to try as she never does at night.
