Trouble grooming pants

As Darla gets older the fur on her pants seems to get woolier.

Does anyone have any tips on the best way to brush her fluffy wool pants?

I line brush with the slicker brush and keeping brushing until the brush goes through an area freely, then move on to another area. If you can get it smooth, try brushing weekly. It helps.

I use a pin brush. You might also try using a spray conditioner as you brush. It helps with tangles and eliminates static. I dilute it with water so it's not full strength and it still works well. Buddy Wash makes a wonderful Lavender and Mint liquid conditioner that I use all the time and water down. I get it on Amazon.

Indy has the thickest pants ever! As said, line brus with and/or diluted conditioner. I use 4 tools all with a line brush technique

I start with the slicker mainly to to loosen things up

The move to the rake. Be careful about the kind of rake you choose. Teflon coated, no sharp points or edges, medium spacing

The I slicker. And finish with the pin brush. My favourite is a 35 mm. The only I know that sells this length is Chris Christenson. It really gets in there. It's the only one I use

I use the comb to deal with individual problems spots. Eg. Big tangles.

And always brush with a spray bottle. You want to mist....not saturate.
