Tunnel for Puppy?

Our new pup loves to tunnel under stuff like couches, etc. We'd like to channel this interest into a healthier venue but all our other dogs have been terrified of the tunnels when we've done agility "try outs" at dog fair events so I've never looked into into what to buy, etc.

I'm looking for some suggestions of what we could use indoors, what would be good when it gets warm enough to set something up outdoors as I think this would be a great way for him to have some safe fun and keep him from less safe tunnel areas.

I've looked online as none of the local stores carry stuff but I have no idea what constitutes good/safe vs bad/unsafe and would love some suggestions. I'm not sure we'd ever get into agility trials with him but I do think he'd love the training and exercise that agility work would provide for him.

We have been using the cones we got for Katy's PT outdoors and he loves flying over those and that has proven to be a great way of burning off some excess puppy energy.
 
I, too, bought a kid's collapsable play tunnel and Fillion loverd it. My problem was I couldn't secure it in my gravel yard, it was too light. Wind was also a problem for the same reason.
 
I'm not into competing my self, but Meadow has excelled in and LOVES agility training. Jumping over hurdles is discouraged until about a year of age due to their joints still developing (not talking about the occasional jump-over). But a wobble board, tunnel, cones set up to weave through etc is great. It gives them confidence and wears them out.

so agility people use various things in practice to keep the tunnel from moving- in trials, sandbags or tunnel tamers are used.
you could fill empty jugs of water to put on both sides of the tunnel to keep it from moving................. or anything with a little weight to it.....

With Angus at 7 and 8 months and now at 9 months we use 4 and 8 inch jumps
