Oh wow Chris, that is such a touching read, so heartfelt. I'm sure we can all relate to those beautiful words. It still feels like yesterday I was teaching little Harley the ropes in his new home, then I blinked and he was an old man getting helped to do all the things we took for granted. The twilight years actually helped us bond even more and we probably shared our most cherished memories through those times.
Layla has theee most perfect home with theee most perfect family. I love watching you both make the most of life and it's example to us all

I don't know how you manage with Beckon and Layla in declining health. I love my little old girl dearly, but it can be tiring. You look after yourself too.

Having myself, SheltieDad and SheltieSister in the house makes a huge difference. Although when everyone else was gone for a couple of weeks, I managed quite well -- with a strick routine!
