Two dogs done…would’ve been 3 but we had a power failure for almost 4 hours not 20 minutes after I’d finished Blueberry! I told my mom it was a good thing the power failure hit after I was done. If it was while I was using the blower I’d have thought I’d done it!
I did use the blower on a fairly high speed to do a deshed on Blueberry first and it made a huge difference afterwards, next time however I’ll have to do it outside…I’m sure I have dog hair everywhere! I was using the blower on my face I had so much hair blowing in my eyes (safety glasses would’ve been a good idea!)
Blueberry was 75% dry when I was finished…she was trying to climb up onto my shoulder…I figured she was dry enough!:ROFLMAO:
Was hard to get a good picture of her…she actually comes to me when I call her right away (this is new) so she kept approaching the camera!

I blow dry outside and still have to use the blower after to clean off my face and my body. I can't image doing it indoors, to be honest, when I do it, there is hair floating all over the place.

Very interesting in the change of Blueberry... she must have been really uncomfortable prior to her procedure. Interesting that you've seen such a change so quickly, I always assumed changes came over a longer period of time so less dramatic.

Blueberry is still very much herself still but much more affectionate. I suppose part of it could be that I’ve been giving her a lot more attention these past 2 weeks.
The biggest change is she’s back to playing with Finnie. I had noticed her not wanting to play with him the past couple months but I just thought it was a phase. He’d try to initiate, she’d either ignore or run under the table and hide. Now she’s initiating play…tomorrow is 2 weeks. Finnie better watch out because the training wheels come off and he will get 100% Blueberry!
She’s been trying but I’ve been slowing her down…she’s practically bouncing off the furniture, literally! Careful what you wish for huh? lol
Whatever it is I do hope it continues!
If I had to rate my dogs on which one was the easiest (granted I haven’t done Piper) to bathe I’d have to say it was Finnie. The biggest, suckiest big baby (and I say this in a good way) is the easiest on the table. Blueberry would probably rate as the hardest. She hates that blower, would growl if I hit a sensitive spot and is constantly trying to move away from the blower lol. It’s always a relief (for both of us) to put her on the floor:ROFLMAO:

Feel lucky Spitfire has to face left on the table so doing his far side is not as easy as picking him up and turning him. You do and he turns around. He is VERY determined about it, OCD little monster.

Piper will flip his body from the left to the right side (when he’s laying on his side) as I brush him. I just let him do his thing and switch to his tummy:ROFLMAO:. He’s like NO FAIR as he switches back to the side he was originally on. Back and forth we play this dance:lol: but that’s really the worst he does.
I always have my table against a wall (or a window…a good distraction sometimes) because they all have to back up to the edge! I’ve had to pull them back from almost falling off! I do have a grooming arm but I find mine is not high enough and they can still move too much.

is your grooming arm not adjustable? I've lowered mine for the puppies and moved it back up as they get bigger.................

At its highest they can still move. I think I need a shorter collar, that might help. I want a breakaway one though.
It’s just not something I think about until I groom them!
I’ve seen grooming arms at different online stores but shipping is costly…and those sold on marketplace usually go quickly.
