UKC Invitational

Hmm...

So River's official "top ten" certificate came from UKC today. I had no idea they did those, but OK. It's a nice little packet with all kinds of information on the Invitational. It's ten hours away in Kalamazoo, MI on a Thursday/Friday in June. They are also holding the UKC Sheltie "National" that day. I am supposed to work an agility trial on Saturday/Sunday in Pittsburgh.

So, is it worth the drive? Go out on Wednesday, show Thursday/maybe Friday, then drive to Pittsburgh for the trial? River will be one tired boy. :smile2:
 
The Top Ten's a lot of fun, and since they're holding the specialties Thursday evening it's like killing two birds with one stone. It would be a long weekend, but Thursday's competition would be worth it, in my opinion.

If you go, I'll cheer River on! I don't have any dogs in the Top Ten, but I'm watching other AKK friends and we'll be there that evening for our own specialty.:smile2:
 
I don't know much about the actual event...but if I could easily get off of work/out of any previous responsibilities, I would go.

Seems like a pretty cool opportunity.
