URGENT!!! Euthanize date soon. Please help!

Rescues

Isn't the bottom line making sure all shelties are safe and cared for! Rescues are all over and have always been wonderful with all of my experiences. If you have some one in a pound with an attitude just take the dog and bring to a sheltie rescue or keep it until there open or you find one. If you really care about our shelties, then an arrogant person shouldn't matter, just do whats best for our shelties. If need be call police or just take the dog!

Not sure what happened with the rude reply from Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue but I know and have met the folks at NorthEast Ohio Shetland Sheep Dog Rescue (NEOSSR) and in fact, that’s where I adopted my sheltie, Kristy, last December 18th , 2010 . The very day my Kristy was posted on Petfinder, I called the Columbiana County, OH dog pound and the warden told me NEOSSR was already on their way to pick her up. The volunteers at NEOSSR are absolutely the best and they care wonderfully for their shelties.

Gizmo is in the best of hands and will find a great new forever home, I sure.


So don’t be discouraged by one person who wanted to just “enjoy the rest of their holiday”. Rescue is a never ending challenge and doesn’t go on hold for the holidays. It’s folks like you and NEOSSR that save lives and that’s what’s important. I’m sure Central does a great job too.
