I'm a little late to post, but thought I'd share here for those of you that didn't see our results on Facebook 
We were recently in Michigan for the USDAA North Central Regionals, and the dogs did great! (I'm only going to mention once that the turnout for this regional was uncharacteristically small...)
Enzo and Lexi were on a team with someone we didn't know. Other than Enzo's horrific Gamblers run (where he only accumulated 7 points, lol!), they were stars. Lexi finished in 3rd place in her height class for Overall Individual, which earned us a trip to the podium. If it weren't for stupid ol' snooker, we would have come in first! Enzo came in first in Team Jumpers, with a smoking time of 28 seconds--and that included turning the wrong way twice! The winning BCs ran it in 26. Little man has a bright future!
Here's his Jumpers run:
Enzo Qd and came in 3rd in the Steeplechase locals, but couldn't get the weave entry in Rd 1 so he didn't make finals. I'm NOT focusing on the negative, but naughty little Lexi dropped 2 bars in Finals. If she had kept them up she would have won!
Bentley was top Performance 12" overall individual, and won Performance Speed Jumping--so he got to stand on top of the podium!
Lexi KILLED it in Grand Prix. She won the local, earning another bye (which is perfect because we can use it at the Canada regional!), and then she won Rd 1 as well. In Finals, she was beaten by Swift (my trainer's AMAZING sheltie), so that's a second place I'm happy to take. So we got to stand on the podium again!
