since many of the humans on the forum are females I wanted to post this article as separate thread. I find it very very interesting finding. One could also extrapolate that a lot of things that we use and do not think twice about may come in direct contact with our furry friends

That was a very interesting article. But it was also a scary one. I never thought about the possible side effects of having a hormone cream on your hands or arms and holding a pet or one of your kids.

Great article. I don't use hormone creams, but if you really analyze this whole thing, even people who have radiation can hurt their pets. Some people I know were not permitted to hold their kids, so why pets.

Chemicals I quess on a person, even like cleaning supplies can penetrate the skin, that is why I use rubber gloves, and keep the pets away. The cleaning supplies you can rinse with vinegar and water.

Creams are another story, thanks for the warning. I know we just have automatic habits, that can hurt the dogs and kids, and not realizing what can happen. That picture on that site tells the story.

I LOVE watching House but I usually miss the new episodes so I watch the old ones which probably explains why I don't remember that one. =/

This is very interesting and good information to have. It's amazing how often we don't think of things we use that can affect our pets and then end up spending buckets of money having it diagnosed by the vet. Thanks for posting it!

The article was an interesting read,thank you.

For me personally,I had contemplated using Bio-Identical therapy,as I have been on hormone replacement going on 5 years.I have done alot of reading,and thought this could be an easier way.And it probably would be,but unfortunately finding a compound pharmacy without traveling nearly an hour,was not for me.

I have in the last 3 months,have totally weaned myself off from hormone replacement,and I have to say even with the slight problems I still deal with,coming off hormone replacement has helped me to loose much needed weight,and I feel much better.

But this article was definately an eye opener,thanks again!
