How awful, I feel for you! Maybe it'll help to go back to tethering him to you so that you can see his every move for a little while.

My dad doesn't have a fence so the pups need to wear their harnesses to be tied out for potty time. It's pretty cold here and snow on the ground so the pups play and get tangled up frequently. They don't mind being out so I don't understand why the Cran doesn't do his business outside. He has pooed and peed in the house. actually just a little bit ago, I saw him preparing to squat and pee- he did get a little out before I got him outside. so not sure what's up with that. I think the girls have gone once or twice- poo- but not as many times as Cran in 3 days.
VERY naughty :(
 
Riley has joined Vash on the naughty teenage Sheltie list also! He has suddenly decided that pooping in the house (and pee once) is OK!! At least he doesn't eat it too. :dead: I guess he's back to being confined at night. It sucks because he has been fine with full run of the house for 3 months now. How long does this last in shelties typically?
 
If it helps, I crated my Shelties at night until they were over 12 months old.

During the day they were "contained" in a secure area until they were almost 2 years old.
