Visors/Walking in the sun

Hi,
My sweet 9 month old sheltie loves going for walks. I am concerned about possible sun damage to his eyes from going on several walks per day in the bright sunshine (over the course of his lifetime). Does anyone put a visor on their dog when going for walks? My husband says he doesn't see any dogs wearing visors, but I think it would help shield his eyes from the sun.

Now I think I've seen just about everything! Should be no surprise that someone would have come up with this!
