Congrats!!! Nicely done.
If it makes you feel better, Lexi and my first ever Rally trial, Lexi did the grab the leash and play tug. I think they pick up on our nerves and the get a little anxious. All I could do was ask the judge if we could be excused.....silly shelties!!
Why don't you try a little rally. It's more fun/less formal than traditional obedience and a good foundaion if you want to transition to agility (or obedience).
