I posted a few days ago about how obsessed Miko is with sniffing. Well it's come to my attention that there seems to be "something" in the grass that is catching his interest... and I mean catching his interest. He's trotting along and all of the sudden... BANG.. he stops dead and is sniffing deep into the grass... routing around with his nose... rubbing it with his paw... digging at it. It's as if there's steak burried all over my neighbourhood!! Does anyone know what it could be? Do worms smell good?

Bentley does this in our backyard. My guess is it could be any number of things.
Dog pee/cat pee/animal pee/poop of some kind was here at one time. Food was here once, animal sat here once, etc.. etc...
We may never know!

Ah yes.. I forget to mention that he also eats the grass at these locations. Sometime, at the park, where it's torn up from people playing soccer, he also eats the exposed dirt.

Lexi will sit on the ground at our agility field and just lick the dirt. So Miko is not alone!
