What's this cold white stuff...

Caro - A real winter with lots of snow is so wonderful, we love it and especially children can drive on their sledges and dogs playing.

We adults take our furs, big winter boots, mittens and scarves and enjoying a long trip.

My grandchildren living in Australia love to come to Denmark when we have snow winter they have been here twice for Christmas.

Image of them with my previous German shepherd. (hope you can see them)

Love that look. Haha. I hear ya about setting everyone's show pics. I moved here and finally got snow that actually stuck and Koji didn't do anything. Oh well, the sun only shelties just don't get it.

Yea maybe the look was more like "you call this snow". Mind you, if Deska knew he could eat it he wouldn't have come back inside. There's still hope of more snow, usually it hits in August, but I hate the weather that comes with the snow, had to dodge lots of fallen trees on our walk this morning. I don't know how you all in cold climates manage with this weather, I find the cold miserable and really have to push myself to go for a walk.

I prefer snow to the heat wave we are having. I am of the opinion, I can add a layer, but when it is scorching and you are sitting pooling just breathing wearing practically nothing. And my girls are panting like crazy, or trying to crawl inside the fan for relief. The thought of cool white stuff in my face sounds wonderful right about now. As long as it doesn't get in the (-) range, snow suits me fine. But heat, with drying wind, upwards of 90...ugh, no thanks. I hate the flies and mosquitoes that come with heat. I love that bugs are dead in winter! Snow games are easy to do with the girls, but trying to get them out in the dog days, they think I have lost a marble or too. Stay warm-we have season envy!!!

Yep, crazy hot here as well. The kind of heat that you end up sweating just from walking in from the car. Poor Spirit hates it and refuses to even go outside to potty in the middle of the day.
