When did you first learn what agility was?

watched Top Dogs on outdoor life network in the early 90's
Was wondering why those Border Collies are so insane, hhahahaha
Couldn't figure out back then how those dogs were SO happy and willing to do anything and such drivey dogs, and since I was raised as a 'balanced' trainer back then... embarrassed to say... I never thought how they get the dog to do so well, I concluded it was the dog not the handler, lol
Plus I was dogless for over ten years back then... until I got Mr T.

Boy was I wrong about many things, and what a trip it has been :D

I always knew what it was from a young age. I kind of regret not doing it with my boy Levi, especially since his mom and sister are both very good at it and hold multiple titles.

Agility

Your boy Levi is not to old to learn. It is great fun and both my boys are awesome.Shadow now retired from agility has mutiple titles in 3 different venues and has been to Germany to compete for the USA.

I had seen agility when I was younger, but really looked into it when I was on a breeder's website. She had photos & videos of a Junior with her sheltie and I though, "Hey, I could do that!" Best decision ever. :biggrin2:

My dogs are still teaching me what it is, so I can't answer this question until I reach a level of understanding to say that I do. :gaah
