Why I have Five Shelties

Every time I see a picture of someone's Sheltie, I'm more and more convinced, that the ASPCA got it wrong when they told me he was only half Sheltie, I'm convinced by looking at everyone's baby that Beau is not half.

I wish I could post pictures so everyone could see, I'm not technical like:mad: that, but, I do enjoy seeing everyone else':smile2:

shelters do not always do a good job of identifying dog breeds. I have looked on Petfinder for shelties- some of the dogs that they list as sheltie mixes- there's no way.
even my beagle mix that I got from a shelter was listed as beagle/lab mix- because he was mostly black and black dogs are labs....
I'm positive that he was beagle/terrier but there was definitely beagle in there- it was in his voice and his hunting......

Groan! My breeder just sent a post that she has to get her brood down to 2. That means many pups available for me.

I always that 3 was a perfect number. I really, really want one. But David would kill me. I can't really do a pup right now until I sell the cottage....or can I......hmmmm
