Read an interesting article on dogs sniffing out cancers, not only dogs but ants and locus and maybe even worms--The world of dogs and other creatures is far richer than ours in many ways we will never realize. We can be grateful that they share it with us.

Speaking of one of our Shelties is always licking the cats head-- not surprising and the cat lets her--the other day we discovered a basal cell carcinoma on the part of the head where the dog licks-- did she know??? Not sure but yeah it is there???

I am convinced Benson knew of my husband's cancer long before we did. When I brought him home from getting neutered a few weeks ago, the first thing "Doc" Benson did was go check out Fillion's eye (it runs a lot due to allergies). Benny may be a hot mess in many ways, but he tries to look out for his family! (God help me if I have a boo-boo LOL)
