Working on Lexi's pushy behavior...

The only thing that crosses my mine is too try some distance patience drills sit /stay drills, maybe take them both out get her to do a down then walk out 30 to 40 feet making her stay but taking bentley with you waiting 40 seconds so then calling her in, then gradually extending the time out to a couple of minutes, maybe even play a bit with bentley to see if you can gode her into breaking the stay, while she's has to sit or stay down, let her complain all she wants but don't let her come in till you tell her it's ok if she does keep taking her back out and start again till she will stay out & calm till you tell her its time to come in to you. I do this with both cosmo & rockey all the time and switch off between the two of them so they both get treated the same.

Good idea! I didn't think of "practicing" with Bentley out there to distract. Thanks!

I've tried this a few times with Ginny and it didn't help. She barked, carried on and threw tantrum after tantrum every time. She became too worked up to accept treats or be distracted away from the other dogs. Instead I worked on her recalls instead of correcting the behavior, so when she became overbearing, I at least had the option of removing her, when necessary. That being said, crating Lexi or putting her in a stay may be the best you can do, but it can't hurt to try making her behave. It just didn't work for Ginny.
