My agility instructor's 9-year-old granddaughter handled Rosy, a 10-year-old Aussie, in the 16-inch preferred class. They made it all the way to the finals. In the end, Bree pulled Rosy off the jump and wasn't able to recover to finish. Donna uploaded the videos of her runs today and I thought some of you might enjoy watching, even though Rosy isn't a Sheltie.

Thanks for sharing. She is so cute. I love to watch kids run and for ger to run at level is totally awesome. She is an excellent handler.A freind of mine ended up in third place in the prefered with her cocker spaniel Hemi.

Great to watch! The Aussie sure loves that little girl, even if she didn't place/point whatever you call it, she sure did a great job for a 9 yr. old.

Oh I could see me doing this run, my dog would be everywhere shouldn't be, because of me pointing in the wrong direction. Are you smarter then a 9yr. old, NEVER!

GOOD JOB!

That was amazing to watch. It made my eyes tear. I wish I could navigate a course like that and execute the handling manouvers like her.

I know what you mean. I even have the same teacher as Bree and none of my moves look anything like that. :uhoh:
