I wasn't sure what thread to put this under because while its a recipe its also loaded with probiotics and a super healthy food for their gut and all natural.

For anyone who's ever thought about making this but was afraid to try, just do it. Its so easy and in the summer its ready in less that 10 days. My dogs LOVE it (they get 2 tbsp/day) and very good for their gut health (plus I'd rather give them something natural as opposed to synthetic). Ive gone fancy at times making fermented veggies with asparagus, carrots, zucchini and cabbage (depending on price) other times just cabbage, zucchini and carrots.
Your only limited by what your dog likes.
I use Mason Tops glass weights and Mason tops pickle pipes (allows gas to escape) for wide mouth jars. This makes it so easy, just fill and put tops on and check every few days. Place in fridge when done and good for a few months (although i go through it in a few weeks).
I usually do a smaller recipe than this link calls for (4 jars).
Give it a try, you won't be sorry.
