Guess who turned 9 today?

Hard to believe but Piper turned 9 years old today! For a senior he’s still quite spry (fortunately he hasn’t had a flare up of his arthritis since January) and has no problems keeping up with Blueberry and Finnie!
I took Piper to the pet store where he proceeded to steal a piece of pork ‘bacon’ (I tried to retrieve it but he wouldn’t let it go) and then when I was paying he stole a dehydrated chicken foot. I did try to pay for the stolen goods but the clerk said she didn’t see a thing
It did take Piper several minutes to eat the chicken foot…we were waiting on him to finish so we could leave the store (I was buying the frozen food and the clerk was carrying it to the car for me)…he got himself quite comfortable spread out on the floor. The girls said they’d never seen a dog get so relaxed in the store lol.
I got extra treats for the dogs and a birthday cookie for all the dogs to share and as a treat all the dogs got some veggies this evening.
All in all Piper had a great day spent eating
