    Louisiana breeder caught in floods

Lynette Stewart a sheltie breeder in Louisiana had her home over taken by the floods and she had to be boated out along with all of her beautiful shelties!! She is my Lexi's breeder. Shortly before I bought Lexi from her, she had to evacuate her Southern California home because of a wild fire...

    Elbow dysplasia

Lexi had elbow dysplacia and had surgery at 16 months of age. She went on to do rally, obedience and agility. Although she was trained on all contact obstacles, before we began to compete, I could tell that the teeter was hurting her. So I eliminated teeter from all of our class/practice...

    What The?!? HOWLING!??!

Lexi is an expert howler! She even taught my granddaughter to howl, when Aly was only a year old! Pyper tries to keep up....but cannot hold a candle to Lexi. When we are at the ranch where we train at night, and the coyotes start up, I tell Lexi.....Listen, they are singing the song of...

Just have to share.....this might help someone!

I feed 50/50 to Lexi and she has enjoyed the benefits, but it's easier for me to manage the cooking, because a batch lasts a little longer this way. I also have a friend with GSDs and she feeds 50/50, also. It is a good option!

Just have to share.....this might help someone!

My Pyper at only 4 years old started having terrible digestive issues. They have done every test and then chalked it up to food sensitivities. The vet put her on one of their "prescription diets". It was fine for a while, but I wasn't happy with the nutritional value in that food. My...

Socialization without putting paws on ground

I took Pyper with me to all of our club training meetings. I just put her in an ex en on a tarp. I cleaned the tarp each time with a diluted bleach. We can't walk our puppies here at all until fully vaccinated! One of my friend's puppies is just recovering from Parvo and the puppy was...
