PS: He heard me playing this old video just now and went nuts howling, along with his friend Callie. It sounded like a nuthouse!

LOL! Well I have actually tried that before just being funny and all she did was bark. My kids even joined in.

Lexi is an expert howler! She even taught my granddaughter to howl, when Aly was only a year old! Pyper tries to keep up....but cannot hold a candle to Lexi.

When we are at the ranch where we train at night, and the coyotes start up, I tell Lexi.....Listen, they are singing the song of your people....I think it's so funny!

Coyotes are great howlers! The Yellowstone forums that I follow refer to them as Song Dogs.

My Callie howls -- when I play the piano. I can never tell if she's (A) singing, or (B) crying in protest.
