I cannot find a collar to use all the time for Ozy’s tag that doesn’t cause mats in the soft hair behind his ears. The latest try was a rolled leather but the mats are still coming. I use a martingale for training and walks and take it off when I get home. Any ideas?

Ozy will jump on beds (including a very high four poster), couches, chairs etc. but will not jump into the car. He will actually lie down and refuses to move. I have to pick him up and put him in. He has no qualms about jumping out. Any ideas? I’ve tried his favorite treats! Nothing works so far.

I am having my year and a half guy neutered next Monday and am looking for advice for finding something more comfortable than those awful cones that the vet send you home with. I’ve used them with previous dogs,not Shelties, and have always hated them.
