    I asked my vet what she would do if it was her dog? And she said the extractions because with her luck if she did the root canal the caps would probably fall out and she would just end up having to do the extractions. Thanks for the feedback.

    My intent was to explain why I was feeling so guilty about considering exacting his teeth. When I explained to the specialist that my own Vet said she has seen many dogs do perfectly well with out those teeth.The specialist responded saying " If you had a broken leg you could chose to cut it off...
