I've just done K9 freestyle, but not competitively. I find that it helps with her focus and it is more relaxed than rally. We work on recalls and obedience stuff all the time though.

Most places have a minimum age of 6 months, but you definitely need to work on bonding and obedience skills first. Sit, Stays, COME, down, all that jazz will help you immensely. Don't rush into agility, enjoy your puppy! It goes by too quickly.

I had seen agility when I was younger, but really looked into it when I was on a breeder's website. She had photos & videos of a Junior with her sheltie and I though, "Hey, I could do that!" Best decision ever. :biggrin2:

Seems like almost all of the dogs over in Europe are faster than dogs in the states....I wonder why? Great run, you guys have a spectacular future in agility ahead of you.
