I have had age 11 My first Sheltie named him Laddie.and he was bonded to practically at birth because I saw the pen full of puppies and asked the owners permission to get in the pen. Later in life my human son was born and I bought him a blue merle named Peppi because he was full of energy and so was my son. Later still we got Heidi part shetie/part Spitz. Heidi was all sheltie in behavior but had the confirmation of Spitz. And now in our golden years we have Luke Skywalker who needs a Princess
