  • Ania, Thanks for sharing the albums with us!! You have 2 gorgeous pups :yes:there and one beautiful Sheltie Angel. I am sorry for your loss of Dorian. I know how difficult it can be. But memories can never be taken away. Rest in Peace Dorian. Best of luck with your 2 new sheltie furbabies, Ania! I love their names , Chinook and Maia. I have never heard them before but like them alot.
No problem. Interesting question, how did you choose the name Chinook? Chinook in Russian means puppy. Sophie is 6 months old on Dec 3rd. She is only 14 lbs and I doubt she will grow much larger. From what I hear they grow most during the first 6 months.
Ania, your new little addition as well as Chinook are very cute. Dorian is also adorable and soo small. May his furry little paws rest in peace.
Hi Ania-Thanks for the compliment! :) Pogo & I appreciate it. If you ever get around to set up a dogster page for your pupster, Pogo would love to be doggie friends!!
I was just thinking that the date to pick up your new pup must be coming up! I can imagine how excited you are! We're hoping to get a new pup in the spring/early summer. We'd really like a bi-blue or merle but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Believe it or not, in Sadie's litter she was the only sable, two others were bi-black and one was a tri color. Bi-black can be so beautiful, Sadie goes for play time with one of her bi-black siblings occasionally, Della is such a beauty!
I forgot to mention the other day that Chinook is adorable! He looks so cuddly I just want to squish him. I also love his coloring, I'm hoping that our next sheltie is either a bi-blue or a merle :)
your Chinnok is beautiful too! My name is Josie and my baby girl's name is Chloe. She just got a bath and pedicure last night. She doesn't mind baths as long as I keep them fairly short (she likes to lick the bubbles and drink the water) but she HATES getting her toenails clipped and having me trip her paw fur. The only way she lets me do it is if I force her on her back into submissioin It's definitely no fun for mommy when nail clipping day comes along.

Does Chinook have any funny quircks like that?
    Thanks you :)

Sadie is sort of my second sheltie. My family got their first sheltie a little over 7 years ago and I was the one who did all of his training. Milo was such a special guy that I knew I had to have a sheltie of my own when I started my own family. I love the breed so much that I've read and learned as much about shelties as I could.
    A Bit About Our Family:

My girlfriend (soon to be fiance) Renae and I are proud parents to a color-headed white sheltie named Ella (Ella Snow-White So-White). She takes up the majority of our day with her various antics, including hiding all of her toys behind the sofa or under the coffee table, spinning in circles to greet us, eating her father's socks, or anything for that nature, or just being a sheltie barker.

Renae is a PhD student at University at Buffalo, writing her dissertation in Behavioral Neuroscience. She's infinitely smarter than I am.

I am Director of Football Operations for Buffalo City FC, a professional soccer franchise located in Buffalo, New York.

So, needless to say, we are a busy bunch!

Thank you Ania. I will check out the Sheltie-natural forum when I have more time, on my way to work!
